Your mix is finished. I take it through the last stage.

Each track is mastered personally by me, DRAIN DK, with attention to tonal balance, low-end control, transients, stereo integrity, loudness and translation.

There is no automated preset and no fixed LUFS superstition. My objective is not to bleach your mix into generic loudness. The objective is weight, clarity and a final form that survives streaming, headphones, cars, clubs and those hostile little speakers.

My mastering abilities are primarily within the realm of dark rap, trap, electronic and pressure-heavy music, but all genres are welcome.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

• One stereo master, up to 8 minutes
• 24-bit WAV at the original sample rate
• 16-bit WAV
• 320 kbps MP3 reference
• One revision based on the same submitted mix
• Private digital delivery
• Delivery within 3 to 5 business days after your files are accepted

BEFORE YOU TRANSMIT

Send your mix as WAV or AIFF, preferably 24-bit or 32-bit float, at the project’s original sample rate.

Do not normalize or dither the file. Avoid clipping. You do not need to force exactly 6 dB of headroom.

Keep mix-bus processing that defines the sound. If you are using a final limiter only for loudness, send an (un)limited version as the mastering source and include the limited version as a reference.

You may include up to two reference tracks and a short note describing what the master should preserve, repair or intensify.

SCOPE MEMBRANE

This is stereo mastering, not mixing.

Vocal tuning, noise repair, stem balancing, arrangement changes and major mix surgery are not included. If the mix contains a technical fault that should be corrected before mastering, I will stop the process and contact you. One corrected mix may then be submitted without an additional charge.

REVISION

One revision is included.

A revision covers adjustments to the delivered master, such as slightly darker, brighter, louder, softer, heavier or more dynamic.

A new mix, changed arrangement, replacement vocal or altered production is considered a new master.

WORKFLOW

1. Purchase a mastering slot.
2. Receive the private intake link by email.
3. Upload your mix, references and instructions.
4. Your files are checked before work begins.
5. The first master is delivered within 3 to 5 business days.
6. Send one revision request within seven days, if needed.
7. Receive the final file.
